Paul Nicholas is the Owner/President of STRATiCOM, a small business management consulting firm specializing in Marketing and HR.

 

STRATiCOM’s revenue doubled in 2009 and increased another 35% in 2010. He understands the needs of clients from his experience of running a small business, which has helped STRATiCOM steadily increase its client list and revenues over the past 10 years.

 

Paul’s background includes succeeding as a Business Manager of a media duplication unit that doubled sales from $2.5 million to $5 million within two years. Direct profit margins also improved dramatically, increasing from 12% to 22%, while expenses declined from almost 71% to just over 63% of sales.

 

Paul also served as the senior marketing executive for two different organizations. During his tenure as VP of Marketing for a media duplication company, the company doubled revenue over his six year’s with the organization. The growth was directly impacted by his role in M&A analysis, introduction of Product Management, and the development/implementation of marketing plans.

Paul received an MBA in Marketing from the University of St. Thomas (St. Paul, MN), and a BA from the University of Minnesota (Minneapolis, MN)


 

Liz Pielow joined Straticom in 2008 as its VP of Hr Services and Operations.  With over 20 years experience as a Corporate Human Resources Director in service, manufacturing and retail organizations, Liz offers a breath of experience when assisting clients meet their human capital challenges.

Liz successfully assists numerous small to medium sized organizations in Minnesota with HR Department set-up, outsourcing, staffing and compensation analysis.  

Liz received her Masters in Industrial Relations from the University of Minnesota Carlson School and an undergraduate degree in Accounting from Georgia State University in Atlanta.
